This endearing circa 1800s home is steeped in a rich history and was originally built by Agnes and John Hill, who immigrated on the first boat to New Zealand in 1842. Agnes and John settled and raised their family in Hunua and became an integral part of the local community.
John, a carpenter, built the homestead himself using pit-sawn timber and named it ?Thistle Park.
